The EDI Helpdesk position – Healthcare – Remote US position serves as part of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) team in the Gainwell Technologies Kansas XIX systems organization. Primary duties include testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting interfaces with external entities and the Kansas Modular Medicaid System (KMMS) that Gainwell Technologies supports for the State of Kansas. Position includes troubleshooting Kansas physician and hospital electronic claims submission and other interface questions and issues. The Gainwell Technologies solution is made up of a core KMMS application that interfaces with over a thousand physicians, hospitals, dentists, and other groups that send and receive data to/from the Gainwell Technologies system. These interfaces are via web functionality that Gainwell Technologies supports, proprietary software Gainwell Technologies distributes and maintains, and a dial-up bulletin board solution. Duties also include monitoring and troubleshooting problems with file transfers between Gainwell Technologies and the state client and other companies.Your role in our mission
Successfully resolve moderate technical issues (related to hardware and software) from incoming customer contacts and proactive notification systems.Proactively assist customers to avoid or reduce problem occurrence.Participates in projects for process or quality improvements.Ability to read, understand, and interpret complex regulatory and procedural documents.What we're looking for

Full time 40 hours a weekHours of operation are 8am to 5pmPosition is currently Remote (work from home). Should client requirement change, the candidate would be expected to work on site as needed for contract. To effectively work as an EDI Specialist with Gainwell, employees Broadband Internet connections should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload. Greater speeds will of course provide better performance.The pay range for this position is $41,900.00 - $59,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
