We are looking for an intellectually curious, process-oriented individual with a passion for data governance topics to join our iptiQ Americas Data Science & Analytics team.The Data Governance Manager will contribute to the success of iptiQ Americas by supporting the development and execution of data governance initiatives and projects that align with the business objectives and strategy. Responsibilities include all or some of the following:Work closely with data owners, data stewards, and data users to define and implement data policies, standards, and processes.Perform data related risk control assessments to identify, log, and resolve data issues and gaps.Support third-party oversight, application decommissioning activities, and outsourcing and sourcing due diligence.Define and implement data quality KPIs to measure and improve data quality.Collaborate with stakeholders in various regions to align global standards for data governance.Assist with ad hoc data analysis requests and organize the collection of conduct risk metrics.Create data visualizations to enable automated tracking of important metrics.Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage, and data maps to document and track data sources, definitions, ownership, and usage.About the Data Science & Analytics teamiptiQ Americas DS&A team provides analytics and data management expertise to business stakeholders across insurance value chain components including generating business insights, developing predictive models, and providing strategic recommendations to drive operational efficiency.About YouAs a member of iptiQ America's Data Science & Analytics team, you will help to influence, shape, and optimize business strategy and operations. The team strives for "best in class" data, analytics, and governance practices in Swiss Re and in the insurance industry.Must Have:At least 5 years of experience

in data governance, data management, and analytics roles.Ability to lead and coordinate data governance initiatives across multiple business units and stakeholders.Experience in conducting data assessments and remediation plans to ensure compliance with data governance frameworks.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to promote data governance awareness and adoption across the organization.Strong understanding of data governance principles and knowledge of laws and regulations related to records and data management.Nice to Have:Experience with

databases, SQL and data visualization tools

is strongly preferred.BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related discipline is preferred.Insurance industry

experience is a plus (not required).Please note: All our opportunities are based on working in a

setting. 3 days in office, 2 days remote.For Armonk, New York - the estimated base salary range for this position is $96,000 to $156,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
