OverviewThe Software Engineer 2 develops, implements, and documents software and programs that provide the technical solutions to meet specifications and business requirements defined by company objectives to promote effective, efficient, and compliant operations. This position will be in Information Technology and the Workplace workstream therein.Essential Job Functions and DutiesThis will be a 30% functional and 70% technical role supporting the Oracle Fusion Enterprise Resource Planning Cloud Service modules of AR, AP, Tax, Intercompany transfer, and some functionalities of EPBCS & FCCS for EPM.This role will be expected to code integration modules on the Oracle Integration Cloud platform for creating pipelines between ERP and boundary/legacy applications in the organization.This individual may be required to code integration modules using 3rd party middleware such as Mulesoft/SnapLogic/Boomi.Technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with software development standards, architectural standards, and required user stories.Provide assistance to operational teams to ensure continuity of service for deployed artifacts.Perform Software Assurance activities in accordance with Cook Medical policies and procedures.Work with the Software Engineering community of practice to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Must have effective communication skills and the ability to work in collaborative or independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.Perform other duties as assigned.Can be remote/hybrid.Minimum Work Experience/Educational RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related technology degree.5 to 10 years of experience in software development in Java/.NET/middleware technology.Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud with expertise in at least 2 or 3 modules from the following: General Ledger, Accounts Payables (including Payments), Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management.Proficiency in designing and working with relational databases, excellent SQL skills needed.Great to have -
