In this role, you will join D-Matrix’s Simulations team. The team provides virtual platforms that enable software development early in our product development cycle. These platforms include functional reference models, cycle-approximate simulations, and detailed cycle-accurate simulations.You will be responsible for providing a functional reference model that can be used to simulate the computations executed on our hardware. You have contributed to a bit-accurate functional model of a developing architecture. Given a specification document, you can produce a functional model of a hardware block. You are proficient in C++ and comfortable maintaining a library used by many customers. Ideally, you have experience in DV and debugging differences between specification, model, and RTL.What You Will Bring:
BS + at least 5 years C++ experienceProficient in C++Comfortable developing in a Linux environment using common version control and development toolsExperience on DV team or otherwise writing functional models of a hardware architectureAbility to work with other teams to triage functional issuesDesired:
Prior startup, small team, or incubation experienceKnowledge of modeling frameworks such as SPARTA or SystemCExperience with distributed systems, HPC, or cloud computingFamiliarity with common transformer and generative ML models such as BERT, GPT2, and LlamaEqual Opportunity Employment Policy
