Infosys is seeking an
GCP Lead Developer
with experience working in a Big Data ecosystem. The position will primarily be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders and applying your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of
Woonsocket ,
RI
or be willing to relocate to the area.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in a specialty in lieu of every year of education.All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.Hands-on experience working with technologies like – GCP with data engineering – data flow / air flow, pub sub / Kafka, data proc / Hadoop, BigQuery.ETL development experience with strong SQL background such as Python/R, Scala, Java, Hive, Spark, Kafka.
Preferred Qualifications:4+ years of experience working in the healthcare / Pharmacy Benefits Management domain.2+ years of experience with any traditional RDBMS (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, DB2).Data analysis / Data mapping skills.CI / CD exposure.
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
