Our goal is to offer hands-on and meaningful engineering projects that allow interns to gain valuable experience with memory, computer systems, and the product life cycle while adding impact to Micron’s business. Our intern programs help prepare engineers for future roles and offer an outstanding experience that supplements your academic experience!Responsibilities:This role may include computer system-level failure analysis, characterization, and testing of Micron DRAM products. With the help of other engineers, you may be designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, developing custom tools, and performing pentesting on different products. To accomplish these responsibilities, you may incorporate use of a variety of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.).The DRAM Product Security Engineer role is essential to Micron as it serves the company's charter to be the most cost-effective and highest quality producer of DRAM memory. This position is for a 3-month summer internship.Qualifications & Skills:Basic to advanced knowledge of computer hardware and systems (X86, ARM, Computer, System, DRAM, Intel, AMD).Software programming skills (Python, C++ or similar).Good communication and collaboration skills.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn/develop new skills.Education and Experience:Must be pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Must be continuing education in Fall term (i.e. expected graduation date must not be before September 2025).As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
