KBR is seeking a
Senior SIGINT Systems Engineer
to be part of our team supporting our customer in Chantilly, VA that delivers mission-critical capabilities directly supporting intelligence-gathering missions from overhead systems. We lead architectural assessments and report recommendations to senior US Government personnel guiding acquisition and execution of next-generation SIGINT systems needs for the next 10-20 years. These systems deliver collected data distributed to US Government Intelligence Community and Military users.The SIGINT Systems Architect serves as an advisor to support the Government in defining new mission requirements, performing oversight of modeling and simulation, architectural definition clarifying the types of system capabilities, orbits, collection requirements, and system needs for the intelligence and DoD communities. This is a position of trust advising the US Government and supporting critical missions in SIGINT, COMINT, FISINT, and ELINT.This is a contingent position based upon contract awardSpecific responsibilities may include:Define SIGINT requirementsDevelop and coordinate CONOPS of SIGINT mission systemsWrite and translate requirements into Epics/Features based on emerging customer needsUnderstand system-to-system interfaces and function as an IntegratorAssess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measuresMonitor system and segment schedules, recognize dependencies, Identify risks and opportunitiesFacilitate readiness and demonstrations in support of system and acquisition milestonesIntegrate new systems and initiatives in support of expanded SIGINT mission inclusive of planning for operational sustainment of existing systems.Participate in studies looking at the future generation of SIGINT capabilities spanning the next decade.Familiarity with overall SIGINT architecture, including space and ground components and mission partner interfaces, inclusive of familiarity with mission control and processing of SIGINT systems.Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternativesMinimum qualifications:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)10+ years of experience in SIGINT systems engineeringStrong knowledge of SIGINT mission space and ground systemsExperience with system-to-system interfaces and integrationAwareness of Agile and DevOps methodologiesAbility to work collaboratively with stakeholders and development teamsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skillsINCLUSION AND DIVERSITY AT KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people, sustainability, and our Zero Harm culture.
