Job Description:What You'll Do:Collaborate with subsystem and software engineers to integrate MATLAB and C models of weapons, sensors, ground systems and environments, guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms and actual Operational Flight Program code into the 6-Degree of Freedom (6-DOF) Integrated Flight Simulations (IFS).Perform modeling and simulation tasks for system survivability, Safety of Flight (SOF), trade studies and simulation analyses for end-to-end kill chain assessment.Use the simulations to support Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) Lab to verify performance requirements are met.Support integration and testing of hardware and software in Hardware In-the-Loop (HWIL).Participate in flight test prediction and data performance analysis for flight tests.Basic Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Field or Physics.Proficient in C.FORTRAN experience with 6-Degree of Freedom simulation.Experience in Aerospace Applications.Desired Skills:Proficient in C and MATLAB and/or Python.Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment.Ability to occasionally travel for up to two weeks at a time to support flight tests.Experience integrating and testing hardware and software in Hardware In-the-Loop (HWIL).Familiarity with some, or all, of the following: linear algebra, probability and statistics, state dynamic equations, Kalman filter applications, kinematics, and rotating coordinate systems.Active Secret clearance required to start.Core Hours:
