We believe including everyone and providing an inclusive environment is necessary to embody our values, and deliver products that serve everyone.DescriptionApple is looking for an Employee Relations Business Partner who will conduct sophisticated investigations, provide advice and direction regarding employee relations (ER) matters to executives, managers, and employees across the organization. Key objectives for this team include ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies is met in a consistent, objective and fair fashion. To meet these objectives, this recognized employee relations authority will partner closely with the People partners, management, Employee Relations Leaders, as well as Employment counsel in working sophisticated employee relations cases.Handle complex investigations (i.e. advanced, high risk/profile, critical impact, numerous parties)Advise and inform senior leaders/partners (e.g. the business, People, Legal) in investigating and resolving assigned casesAddress executive escalations as assignedConduct sophisticated Decision ReviewsMaintain accurate case entry practicesOwn/participate in ER projects as assignedDrive ER activity for business initiatives as assignedPartner with ER Leaders to provide training and mentoring for ER Business PartnersParticipate in calibration dialog to ensure consistency of practicesMinimum Qualifications10+ years related HR experience7+ years experience leading investigation and resolution of sensitive and complicated employee relations issuesKnowledge of local, state, and federal employment law and regulationsPreferred QualificationsSuperb communication skills including effective listening, clear and concise writing and presentationProven interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence, and resolve issues at all levels in the organization and in collaboration with dynamic partnersStrong time management and prioritizing ability to balance multiple urgent assignments simultaneouslyConsistently exhibits levels of discretion, integrity and confidentialityAdditional RequirementsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
