McGee Air Services is looking for an experienced Director Human Resources, Talent Management to lead our Talent Team based at our World Headquarters in Renton, WA.
The Director Human Resources, Talent Management is an onsite Corporate based leader tasked with leading our talent acquisition, development and retention strategies. This role will oversee end-to-end talent management initiatives including strategic recruitment and onboarding, team member development and strategic retention programs to foster a high-performance culture. As an innovative and visionary leader, you will align Talent initiatives with organizational goals to foster a positive, productive and best-in-class Talent Organization. As a trusted partner to HR and executive leadership, you will drive organizational growth through a focus on people development and strategic workforce planning. This leader will create and implement comprehensive talent solutions that support business outcomes, champion a culture of diversity and inclusion and build a sustainable talent pipeline to meet future needs.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high-volume recruiting background, a strong work ethic, excellent organizational, communication and strategic thinking skills, HR / Talent practices and acumen, knowledge of employment regulations, ability to work in a 24/7 fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and attention to detail. The Talent director should improve Talent processes, implement strategies that support business growth, improve our team members' experience, employee retention, strengthen relations, manage job satisfaction, and promote inclusion while also promoting the organization's values.
This role reports to the Managing Director, Talent & Belonging. This is an on-site role at McGee's HDQ which requires flexibility to periodically travel, support, and work in other U.S. airport stations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Talent Acquisitions Programs
Create and execute holistic strategies to attract and recruit top-tier talent that aligns with the organization's needs and culture.
Oversee all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection with a focus on building a high-performance and engaged workforce.
Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels, including social media, networking and community events, and partnerships with external organizations.
Promote diversity and inclusion throughout all stages to build a dynamic and culturally rich organization at all levels.
Implement and manage technology and AI integrations to streamline the recruitment process and enhance efficiency.
Remain connected to industry trends and adjust recruitment tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
Onboarding, Engagement & Development Programs
Develop onboarding programs that foster a sense of belonging and align new team members with organizational culture and values, driving a commitment to a best-in-class experience.
Create and execute team member development initiatives that support continuous growth, skills enhancement and long-term career progression.
Support initiatives to promote the company's culture, employee value proposition and opportunities for growth and development.
Recruiting and Onboarding Team Management and Oversight
Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop high performance teams.
Workforce Planning & Culture Building
Partner with department leaders and executives to identify and address talent needs, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals and culture.
Implement strategies that enhance team member engagement and cultivate a positive, inclusive workplace culture that creates a positive sense of belonging.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry associations and recruitment agencies to expand talent pipelines.
Data Driven Insights & Program Enhancement Effectiveness
Analyze HR metrics and data related to recruitment, retention, engagement and performance management to continuously optimize talent management initiatives.
Provide regular reports and insights into executive leadership on recruitment metrics, hiring challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Use data to implement enhancements that improve team member satisfaction, development, outcomes and organizational culture.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance talent team focused on delivering a best-in-class candidate experience at all stages of the process.
Other duties as assigned to support McGee's successful business operation. Agility and experience to cross-collaborate, cross-train, back up and support HR leadership in other HR disciplines including but not limited to HR Operations & Programs and Employee Labor Relations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
8+ years of talent or related human resources experience in fast paced customer focused environment with at least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
Proven experience developing and implementing talent strategies in a corporate setting that supports multi-state operations.
Deep experience designing and managing complex processes and projects.
Deep employment law knowledge and experience with human resources functions including employee relations and compliance.
Proven change management skills and experience applying research and best practices to existing business problems.
Excellent strategy, organizational, interpersonal, leadership, project and change management skills.
Professional work ethic and demonstrated ability to work with all work groups while addressing people courageously, directly, and candidly.
Ability to lead and successfully communicate with a diverse workgroup and other internal departments.
Flexibility to support travel (up to approximately 25%) required.
Flexibility to periodically work alternate shifts if needed to support 24/7 operations.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel (approximately 15-25% of time).
At least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Human Resources, Talent or related field Certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR).
High Volume Talent Acquisition experience.
Multi-state, CA HR or Talent experience.
Employee and Labor relations experience.
Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience.

HIRING SALARY TARGET: $125,000 - $140,000
FULL SALARY RANGE:
$124,372 - $186,558

The pay range and total target compensation package is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Pay will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to location, relevant experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity to other McGee employees.
