We are seeking a dynamic and visionary professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a difference.As Lifecycle Leader for Fenebrutinib, within the Multiple Sclerosis Disease Area, you are accountable for the Fenebrutinib molecule vision, strategy and key priorities, and serve as a connector and catalyst to drive realization of this ambition. You will partner closely across the Roche Enterprise – in particular with Global Product Development, Global Product Strategy, Medical Affairs, Pharma Technical Operations, Partnering and Roche Diagnostics – to help identify and prioritize opportunities to advance and accelerate the Fenebrutinib lifecycle plan.Key Responsibilities

Refining the molecule vision and strategy for Fenebrutinib, ensuring appropriate resourcing and talent flow to deliver against the molecule strategy, while always putting patient first, following the science and addressing customers needs.Inspiring and aligning people towards a vision while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, strategic prioritization, diversity, inclusion and trust; catalyze and align global partners and affiliates, removing roadblocks, accelerating opportunities in accordance with the molecule strategy and making trade-off decisions while considering portfolio context to maximize impact.Acting with a sense of urgency and curiosity, takes smart risks; embodies an entrepreneurial growth mindset to reach beyond boundaries and understanding the big picture of how the organization’s mission fits in the marketplace.Deliver and implement an aligned end-to-end Fenebrutinib strategy, lifecycle plan and all activities governed by the Late Stage Portfolio Committee to maximize the life-cycle value to patients, society and Roche. You will make decisions for the molecule across all functions and are the single decision-maker while empowering sub-team leaders. You are accountable to ensure appropriate internal and external advice needed for decisions. You are a standing member of the respective Disease Area Team(s) and you will design molecule strategies in the context of disease level strategies where applicable.Who You Are

10+ years of experience in the Scientific and commercial Neuroscience space (in particular Multiple Sclerosis).Bachelors Degree Required.Outstanding VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach) leadership skills: proven track record in building teams and ability to influence in a collaborative way within a cross functional environment as well as exceptional strategic orientation and agility: outstanding ability to develop long term vision and deep understanding of the global pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry to create robust and innovative business strategies.Demonstrable previous accomplishments should include developing and delivering molecule lifecycle plans and overseeing the execution of breakthrough development and/or commercial strategies that have led to transformative impact for patients, society and your organization.Proven abilities to work effectively in a complex, matrix environment, across numerous time zones and also experience in filing, Health Authority interactions, launch planning and management, deep understanding of global health systems and access/reimbursement challenges, and product life-cycle planning and management.Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals, for large departments/teams in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry. Fluent written and verbal English.Preferred SkillsEstablished network of external stakeholders in the Neuroscience /Multiple Sclerosis space.Development and/or Lifecycle team experience.MBA, MD, PhD or other relevant Graduate or Postgraduate Degree.Join us in our mission to advance science and deliver hope to those who need it most.The role requires an on-site presence at our South San Francisco, CA Genentech Campus. Relocation assistance within the US is available for this position.The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $245,600 - $456,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
