Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Development Engineering, you'll be responsible for:Lead analysis of requirements and define the design for new and modification of existing tools, utilities, environments, and modules/systems.Research, investigate, evaluate new technologies to enhance our product directions.Plan and implement the design specifications for the engineering project and assist Architects and Managers with project scope and estimating.Partner with teams to ensure that the project is delivered in its entirety and be a mentor for junior members of the team.Recommend and maintain technical design methodologies, processes and standards while working with and supporting several different engineering teams, locally and remotely.What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)12+ years' experience developing computer software in the Networking and Security domains.You have proficiency in C/C++ programming languages with knowledge of data structures, run time complexities, IPC, FreeBSD/Linux and RPC.You are an expert with cryptographic technologies, cryptographic device drivers, cryptographic acceleration chips, SSL accelerators and public-key infrastructure (PKI).Multi-threaded programming skills in distributed environments, along with L2/L3 networking experience and experience with protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, SSL, IKE, and IPSEC.You have a BS/BA in Computer Science or related field.What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Masters in Computer Science or related field.You have knowledge of OpenSSL or Hardware security modules (HSM).At Zscaler, we believe that diversity drives innovation, productivity, and success.
