Reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, LendingClub Internal Audit (LCIA) provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services. As a business partner, LCIA helps the Company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.Given the growth of the organization and increasing expectations of the internal audit function, we are looking to expand our team. We seek an objective, highly skilled Senior Auditor who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change. In this role, the candidate will bring internal audit and financial services experiences to deliver audit assurance and to help innovate the function’s methods, tools, and assurance capabilities.What You'll Do
Develop relationships with business and technology partnersExecute audits in accordance with standards and expectations set forth in the Internal Audit Charter, Manual and Methodology; including
Research, plan and scope auditsConduct interviews and process walkthroughsDraft business process flowcharts and/or narrativesIdentify key risks and controlsTest control design and operating effectivenessClearly articulate findings and recommend mitigation strategies
Draft impactful and persuasive written internal audit findingsImplement data analytics techniques where appropriate to test populations or alternative test strategies for complex, data driven processesMonitor issue remediation progress and validate final remediation actionsBuild institutional knowledge of products, systems, and processes; and stay current on industry trends and emerging risksAbout You
1-2 years of Internal Audit or related experience, and bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent experienceKnowledge and experience evaluating the design, effectiveness and regulatory compliance of processes and controls within a bank, broker-dealer, or related financial institutionAbility to obtain or currently hold one or more of the following certifications: CIA, CISA, CPA, CAMS, or CRCMAbility to organize, multi-task, and prioritize workAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levelsExcellent analytical, verbal and written communication and exceptional interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt quicklyCan exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actionApplies learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problemsWork LocationSan Francisco, Lehi

CompensationThe target base salary range for this position is 66,000-100,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
