We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise, and strategic thinking.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Corporate legal team sits at the center of FOX's Television, Sports, Gaming, Entertainment, Technology, and Streaming businesses, providing operational and deal support to our divisions as we transform FOX with cutting-edge technology, digital transitions, operational excellence, and game-changing deals.The Director, Business and Legal Affairs is a resource for executives and internal attorneys providing support and expertise to all of FOX's divisions. This role involves the business and legal aspects of FOX Studio Lot operations, including sound stage, production/post-production, and office facilities operations, as well as FOX's domestic and international real estate portfolio, global security operations, environmental health and safety operations, and crucial global sourcing initiatives. The Director also plays a vital role in the legal aspects of many of Fox's acquisitions, investments, and other transformative strategic transactions, providing advice and counsel, and drafting, negotiating, and analyzing a wide variety of agreements.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze, negotiate, and draft vendor, consulting, contractor, event production, location, and construction-related agreements.Prepare license, rental, and non-disclosure agreements.Provide transaction support for acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity investments.Conduct research and respond to questions related to corporate structures and entities.Prepare and review documents related to corporate governance.WHAT YOU WILL NEED3-8 years of transactional legal experience.Familiarity with vendor, service, and operational support arrangements, such as production and office facilities operations, leasing, licensing, and global sourcing transactions.Significant experience drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements related to business operations and strategic transactions.Working knowledge of intellectual property, privacy and data security law, technology, direct-to-consumer platforms, and SaaS contracts.Ability to manage multiple projects for a wide array of stakeholders with shifting priorities and deadlines.Excellent reasoning, verbal, and written communication skills.Adept at effectively working with individuals from various fields and collaborating with multiple subject matter experts.Advanced proficiency using Word.NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKERJuris Doctor degree and active member of California bar; will consider those eligible for Registered In-House Counsel status (Rule 9.46).Experience with DeltaView and iManage.Real estate experience.#LI-DNIWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.At FOX, we foster a culture and environment where everyone feels welcome and can thrive.
