Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Technical Solution Architect to support our Federal IT Architecture Tech Support services programs. Credence is building an agile, business outcome-driven, and technical applications. The Technical Applications Solution Architect position will look at the existing environment and analyze and propose technologies available and what products to develop, to provide the best solutions for solving federal IT Infrastructure challenges. The person in this role will help build a bridge between the business and the technical application solutions, and guide and monitor technical application solutions from the program/project inception through to go live operational status.Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:This role is client-facing and responsible for providing guidance for full life-cycle IT Programs deliverables and support.Creating the design and road-maps for proposed solutions and technical analysis of existing and proposed infrastructure and technologies used to determine ways to improve them.Creating a technical application approach and vision for strategic solutions.Designing, describing, developing, and managing new or improved solutions.Providing recommendations and road-maps for proposed solutions.Performing design, debug, and solutions analysis.Document capture, information dissemination, cross-functional communication, change management, and best practices.Advocating for process improvements.Communicating new features and benefits to partners, customers, and other stakeholders.Providing end-to-end technical leadership to a team throughout the project life-cycle.Demonstrating experience developing proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed solutions.Reviewing and validating the solution design.Documenting and monitoring requirements needed to institute proposed solutions.Working closely with Information Technology and Business stakeholders and leadership to ensure hardware/software is available for solutions/projects and is in proper working order.Identifying and communicating possible solution/project challenges.Providing specifications for proposed solutions.Collaborating with multiple technical and business stakeholders.Maintaining knowledge of current project status and technology being implemented.Education, Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.US Citizenship is required for this federal role.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to obtain successful Federal Background Investigation.Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience required and/or a master's degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.Project and Program Management and leadership skills are a plus.Experience working in Federal and DoD Government environments.Experience with a Master Application Inventory and documenting application interdependencies.Experience documenting an organization's Informational Needs.Knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM).Experience with Infrastructure, Applications and/or Technical Architecture.Knowledge of IT Systems, SDLC, Cloud AWS, Price Models, Service Models (IaaS and PaaS) and Cybersecurity concepts in the Federal Government.Experience with Cloud Services, DevOps, API Architecture, NSOC, Apps Development, AI, ML, and RPA.Understanding of ITIL, Agile, Service-Oriented Architecture, Component-Based Development, Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement, DevOps, Automated Testing and Deployment, Microservices, and Containerization.Experience in the design of medium to large-sized applications, preferably in the cloud and/or container environment.Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.Federal agency experience is required.Modern application development experience.Certifications preferred: PMP, Agile, ITSM, ITIL and Agile.Experience with modern DBMS database engines.Experience in software engineering and design architecture.Critical thinking and the ability to look at problems from different angles.Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
