EXPERIENCED NIGHT CLUB GENERAL MANAGER

As a General Manager you will lead, manage, and oversee the entire restaurant-lounge/bar operations. You will ensure efficient bar operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. We are looking for an individual with experience managing the front and back of the house in a nightlife atmosphere. As the Night Club General Manager, we expect you to lead by example and maintain a positive work environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operations to deliver superior guest services ensuring guest satisfaction.Support in planning and developing the overall restaurant marketing strategy in partnership with the marketing team.Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints.Nurture a positive working environment.Implement innovative approaches to improve productivity and sales.Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House operations.Hire, train, and supervise restaurant employees.Create the staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing and payroll costs are met.Actively network and recruit to secure always having the best staff.Ensure all employees are working within outlined operating standards.Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.Process payroll and maintain all relevant records.Estimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory.Track stock levels of supplies and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary.Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.Take ownership of budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses.Be a brand ambassador by promoting the brand in the local community.Qualifications:3+ years in a management role with heavy bar experience.An upscale nightlife experience is strongly preferred.Positive attitude and the ability to lead a large team.Previous nightlife - bar - nightclub experience required.Working knowledge of general operations, including personnel management, purchasing, sanitation, health codes, and security.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Excellent motivational and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs following budgets.Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed.Extremely organized and detail-oriented.Apply Now – General Manager in Charlotte, NCIf you would like to be considered for this position, email your resume to kimber@geckohospitality.com.
