Senior Application Developer (Linux/C/SQL)

Design your career for growth, new possibilities and refining your valuable skills:Able to develop highly complex design, coding, and testing documentation to create a technical product that meets client expectations.Perform vital development, domain, application design, web service and database methodologies, and best practices provided by the project advisor and/or architect.Serve as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects — from modifying existing apps to designing new application modules and components.Six or more years of application development in Java, C, and support experience across the development life cycle, with experience preferred working with Medicaid and Medicare technologies.A strong foundation in software and product design methodologies, programming languages, operating systems, Java development and application implementation across the development life cycle.Expertise in application development policies and procedures; and analyzing. A skilled designer and programming programmer who is effective across programming languages and environments as needed.A demonstrated team player with the written and oral communication skills to be effective across application developers, clients, and leadership.What we're looking for
6+ years of applications development and programming with experience in batch UNIX/LINUX C programming.Experience with SQL (MS SQL Server).Any experience with any of the following:
Java ProgrammingGood analytical skillsXMLObject-oriented programming.JUnit and Test-Driven DevelopmentKnowledge of JPA / Eclipse LinkKnowledge of JAXB / XMLJava 7 threading – Executors and Executor ServiceOracle DB and Apache DerbyEclipse IDEMicrosoft Azure DevOpsGIT
What you should expect in this role
Fully remote opportunity with the option to work anywhere within the United States.Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%).Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.The deadline to submit applications for this posting is November 22, 2024.The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
