We Breathe Life Into Data
At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the
Healthcare Map
— the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners.
As a Lead User Researcher, you will develop research programs that enable our teams to understand our users and design products that meaningfully enhance people’s lives and help get us closer to our revenue goals.

Owned/drove User Research insights into the Product development process at Komodo.
Created personas and insights for our core business areas.
Identified value our users glean from Komodo experiences and partnered with Product Analytics teams to measure, learn & improve value delivered through Products.
Partnered with our product team to define/refine and run the end-to-end product experimentation and proof of concept process.
Partnered with our Product Designers on research applicable to their roadmapped initiatives.
Revamped our insight delivery processes to reduce information silos and get information to the people who need it.
You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…
Creating an integrated research strategy for Komodo Health in partnership with other insights functions.
Defining, developing, and deploying user research programs including interviews, focus groups, surveys, in-app feedback, and usage analytics.
Presenting insights to appropriate stakeholders.
Identifying and prioritizing research questions that drive business progress.
Enabling teams to gain a holistic understanding of user needs by marrying qualitative and quantitative data.
Collaborating with product and leadership teams to integrate research insights into high-level strategic and tactical decision-making, influencing product roadmaps and company priorities.
Measuring and tracking the product impact on the evolution of user behavior and sentiment over time.
Establishing research best practices, processes, and methodological toolkits.
Equipping cross-functional partners with resources and guidance for independent research and data analysis.
What you bring to Komodo Health:
Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.).
Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
Exceptional in communicating user research findings, with an ability to influence strategy and decision-making.
Ready to seek out opportunities to expand the value and scope of user research impact through relationship building and technical or methodological innovation.
