Senior Consulting Managers

the Senior Manager / Associate Director Level , this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world.ResponsibilitiesLead consulting projects in Banking & Financial Services Consulting, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Oversee the development and implementation of financial strategies for clients.Provide expert advice on Risk & Regulatory compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client objectives.Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their requirements.Conduct thorough financial assessments and identify areas for improvement.Design and implement financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency.Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices into consulting engagements.Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for clients.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Mentor and guide junior consultants to foster their professional growth.Utilize data analytics to provide actionable financial insights.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the consulting practice.Serve as the Engagement Lead and manage teams of Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers for one or more commercial projects.Enrich client partnering and anticipate client needs based on a solid understanding of emerging industry requirements and/or technological breakthroughs in Banking & Financial Consulting Services.Ensure the appropriate alignment and collaboration of consulting teams and individuals to support project requirements and activities.Serve as a people leader, supporting the recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, and mentorship of your colleagues in Consulting.Participate in people development and community-building activities.Guide development, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.Develop and manage the capture, communication, and sharing of intellectual property (IP) and project artifacts.Exercise leadership in the development of Consulting service offerings.Leverage collegial networks across Cognizant and external partners to innovate solutioning or resolve issues.Support and contribute to the establishment of thought leadership in the industry.Qualifications15+ years of consulting, professional services, digital strategy development, advisory, or transformation program in Risk and Regulatory Compliance.A proven track record in a client-facing role with at least 2 of which are leading digital technology teams.Experience in successfully developing and leading consultant teams in consultant tasks.Should have a well-rounded perspective of industry standards/regulations (e.g., FFIEC, NIST, FedRamp, PSD2).Regularly contribute to the practice by developing practice initiatives, researching industry trends, and developing reusable consultative strategies.Experience in conducting RCSA and implementing technical solutions to mitigate information security risk.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical discipline; MBA or Master’s or advanced business degree preferred.Travel as needed.Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes.The embodiment of Cognizant’s Core Values of: Work as one, Raise the bar, Dare to innovate, Do the right thing, Own it.Work AuthorizationCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
