Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Weare seeking a highly skilled Locums Interventional Cardiology Physician toprovide 24-hour STEMI call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. in Lehi, UT. Thisrole involves working in an inpatient setting, covering emergency room cases,and providing general cardiology call services at a Level 4 trauma center. Thephysician will be responsible for performing critical interventional cardiologyprocedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, coronaryangioplasty and stents, balloon pump/Impella insertions, transesophagealechocardiograms, and pacemaker placements. The position requires collaborationwith a multidisciplinary team that includes Echo Techs, Lab Techs, RNs, X-rayTechs, and Nuclear Techs to deliver high-quality patient care. Documentationand patient management are conducted using the EPIC electronic medical records(EMR) system. The support staffavailable for this position includes Echo Techs, Lab Techs, Registered Nurses(RNs), X-ray Techs, and Nuclear Techs, providing comprehensive assistance inmanaging cardiac patients. Candidates must be board-certified in Cardiology andpossess an active Utah medical license. Certification in Basic Life Support(BLS) and a DEA license are also required for this role.
