HUB: Minnetonka, MNCarlson PkwyMinnetonka, MN 55305, USAThe Senior Finance Director, Transformation Office is responsible for leading investment planning, tracking, and reporting efforts for key Transformation and Strategic programs across Medica. This role is pivotal in establishing and enhancing our Transformation Office, driving financial oversight and strategic alignment for transformative initiatives. This role will work in partnership with our Transformation Office leadership to manage budgeting, funding, forecasting, tracking, and performance monitoring/governance over Medica’s entire Strategic and Transformation Program Agenda.This position will directly manage a small team and closely collaborate with the Operations Transformation Office team & leadership as well as leadership across Medica.Key Accountabilities:Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies for key transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Investment Tracking: Develop, implement, and oversee appropriate governance for the approval, monitoring, and reporting of financial investments across projects, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to budgetary guidelines. Includes business case development support, coaching for business stakeholders and driving best practice guidelines and adoption.Performance Reporting: Create and maintain, in partnership with TO operations, comprehensive dashboards and reports that communicate project status, financial health, and return on investment to stakeholders. Support and/or lead executive-level communications on financial portfolio updates.Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, growth, marketing, network and clinical leadership, to ensure seamless integration of financial insights into project planning and execution. Work with department-level finance leads to align on annual budget process as it relates to Transformation and operationalization of strategic initiatives.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Transformation Office, leveraging best practices in financial management and project oversight.Assess financial risks associated with programs/projects and recommend mitigation strategies to senior leadership.Build and mentor a high-performing team, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field required (Masters Preferred)Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance, relevant consulting, or transformation/project management finance leadership role requiredHealthcare and/or Insurance experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesPrior experience supporting the development and monitoring of significant and complex business cases for long-term investmentsPrior leadership/team management experience – direct reports and significant cross functional collaborationSkills and Abilities:Able to collaborate effectively across functions and with Executive level leadersExcellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem solving skillsSuperior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders (including Executive Management)Innovative and adaptableAbility and desire to coach business stakeholders on best practice business case developmentAdept at navigating complex financial landscapesWork location arrangement is HUB or OFFICE. This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office, Minnetonka, MN, for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership. This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work from the designated office, Minnetonka, MN, on average, 2+ times per week.The full salary range for this position is $143,500 - $246,000. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
