DIRECTOR OF PHILANTHROPIC DUE DILIGENCE ,

Prospect Development , is responsible for the overall leadership of the Philanthropic Due Diligence (PDD) function including management of the PDD team, processes, research, vendors, products, and communication; and identifying, conducting, and delivering high-level due diligence research and materials for key entities, charged with assessing MIT's possible legal or reputation risks due to philanthropic engagement or gift acceptance.Job RequirementsREQUIRED : Bachelor's degree; a minimum of five years of prospect development or similar experience; a minimum of two years of supervisory experience; successful strategic planning, goal setting, and demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team; superior interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills (written and oral); able to analyze and synthesize complex and sensitive information; able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines, without compromising quality, in a demanding, high-volume work environment; able to proffer innovative solutions or negotiate outcomes for a population that may possess competing interests, opinions, or expectations; able to both work independently and contribute value in cross-collaborative teams; demonstrated ability to work with confidential information; an enthusiastic commitment to MIT's Advancement and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) priorities; possess advanced technical skills; and proficiency with computers and standard applications (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and PowerPoint).PREFERRED : Experience with Ellucian Advance or other enterprise fundraising system; and experience within a complex development operation.This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-campus and remote work.Posted on: 11/4/2024
