Crisis Management Lead

As the Crisis Management Lead, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the response to a major threat to a business, such as a natural disaster, active attackers, & other significant business disruptions. Identify risks, prepare contingency and recovery plans, and manage resources during the crisis. Preferred locations for this role are Menlo Park, Denver, or New York City, but other locations may be considered. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Global Security & Technology, not the GSOC Program Manager.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

Lead & oversee client Crisis Management Program, partnering with internal & external

stakeholders

Developing, edit, & finalize client Crisis Management Plan, emergency action/response

plans, and incident response plans

Partner with client Enterprise Resilience team to business entities to align on crisis

response

Establish & maintain Crisis Response Team, provide training & education to stakeholders,

roles & responsibilities documentation, table top exercises, etc.

Manage Physical Security crisis events and ensure appropriate actions are carried out

Build & train on Physical Security’s training programs strategy: including table top exercises

for Crisis Response Team, incident response trainings for Physical Security team, ExecutiveProtection training support, & Floor Warden trainings

Conduct & report on a Crisis Management/Physical Security incident response Business

Impact Assessment (BIA)

Establish internal & external communication strategies with internal communications, public

relations, and other communication teams

Identify, prioritize and implement crisis management program enhancements and expansion

across the sites and regions

Manage program development and growth through metrics and reporting

Qualifications:

5+ years experience with Crisis Management, corporate Physical Security program management, Emergency Readiness/Management, Resiliency

Bachelor's Degree in Crisis Management or related field

Certifications/Training Preferred

IS-700 NIMS, An Introduction

IS-200 ICS for Single Resource and Initial Action Incidents

ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents

ICS-400 Advanced Incident Command

Knowledgeable and experienced in crisis management best practices in a Physical Security

environment

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment while still meeting deliverables

Skilled program manager overseeing multiple projects and initiatives at one time

Ability to travel 25% of the time to conduct site assessments & provide onsite trainings

Bonus points:

7+ years in a corporate crisis management, emergency preparedness, or physical security

environment

Master’s degree preferred

Coda or other project management tools experience

Information SecurityProtect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
