Vertical Markets Manager
based in either our Chicago or Franklin Park offices. In this role you will be responsible for developing, articulating, and driving market segment strategy with the goal of improving revenue and profitability. You will work closely with other functional and businesses areas to drive strategy and align across the organization on key priorities, segmentation, sales enablement, lead generation, in addition to identifying product portfolio gaps, and executing go-to-market strategies to achieve growth targets.Responsibilities include:Understand the assigned vertical markets landscape and create specific plans to compete with Sloan's current product offering, including: segmentation, sizing, potential; competitive assessments/positioning; collaboration with product management and sales to effectively increase revenue and profitabilityDevelop and lead initiatives to collect voice of customer, helping to select and prioritize marketing efforts, new strategic initiatives, and future product development effortsCollaborate with product management and marketing communications to design and create marketing materials, strategies, and education plans to grow sales performance and results in the assigned vertical marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with select key customers to create unique value propositions specific to Sloan's product offering and growth plans within the segmentCreate content for sales tools, sales training, sales support materials, using insights gained from the VOC activitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive business development and marketing strategies to achieve revenue growth and market expansion goals for assigned target erticalsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, architecture, business, engineering, or related field5+ Years In product management, vertical marketing, or business developmentTravel up to 20%.Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
