Vice President of Sales & Marketing
We are looking for an innovative and analytical sales leader to join the Executive Team at WINSYSTEMS, INC. at our corporate headquarters in Grand Prairie, Texas. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, this key leader’s primary objectives are to grow the company and provide maximum value to our customers, through the development and execution of strategic and results-driven sales and marketing initiatives.
WINSYSTEMS designs and manufactures embedded computer systems for industrial applications. Our products include x86 and Arm based embedded single board computers, COM/SOM and I/O modules.
The responsibilities of the VP Sales & Marketing include overseeing the daily sales activities, designing effective sales strategies, writing sales reports, and marketing company products and services. Candidates should have personal brand recognition in the embedded and/or computer technology Industry, strong leadership skills and the ability to exponentially grow company revenues. Candidates should also have an in-depth knowledge of technology markets and competitive products, in addition to excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Manage and grow the sales and marketing team; ensure we have state of the art tools to maximize the use of data.
Develop and present new creative approaches to introduce to the team as we expand in the Americas and European markets
Develop, monitor, and manage sales team KPI’s. Track performance to KPI goals.
Develops sales team compensation program, in alignment with company objectives.
Organize direct sales staff to optimize revenue and profitability growth.
Recruit, lead, and coach sales team members.
Manage sales department budget.
Develop sales training programs.
Continuously monitor market, customer, and competitor activity.
Manage detailed sales expectations and plan accordingly.
Effectively collaborate with executive team members
Oversee the development and dissemination of key sales reports.
Strategically partner with clients to develop systems-level solutions for their success.
Marketing Leadership
Act as Marketing leader; working on technical marketing materials
Advertising, Publication and online media outlets
Website, email lists, blogs, SEO and PPC
Define strategic product direction with Director of Technical Operations
Define system for lead qualification
Determine relevant tradeshows to exhibit
Requirements
Proven track record in technology sales with at least 5 years in leadership.
BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or related field is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
Strong understanding of computer hardware and software technology.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
Marketing experience a BIG plus.
Strong influencer, closer, and relationship builder with internal leaders and external influencers
Is an extremely smart and dynamic individual with outstanding communication skills and no ego
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing position is an on-site position at our corporate headquarters.
