Care’s mission is to provide access to quality health care for Los Angeles County's vulnerable and low-income communities and residents.The Manager, Community Resource Centers (CRC) provides leadership, strategic direction, relationship management, and oversight of the L.A. Care CRC facility operations. The CRC allows L.A. Care to fulfill its mission by providing services in local communities. This position is responsible for the direct supervision, recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of CRC staff, aligning programming and services to the organization’s strategic priorities and community needs.Duties
Operations and Strategic Support:
Provides leadership and oversight of the L.A. Care CRC facility operations, aligns programming and services to organizational priorities, manages relationships with onsite Plan Partner staff, and promotes strategic CRC programming.People and Performance Management:
Manages CRC staff, establishes clear responsibilities, and evaluates performance standards and goals. Creates a team environment that fosters belonging and strong morale.Stakeholder Engagement:
Explores and builds partnerships to enhance local health initiatives and functions as L.A. Care management representative in external community meetings.Reporting Management and Data Monitoring:
Supervises the collection and synthesis of information to drive decision-making across CRC services.Perform other duties as assigned.Education Required
Bachelor's DegreeIn lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.Experience
Required:At least 5 years of experience with resource allocation, including 2 years of supervisory/management experience. Experience with planning community health-focused events and managing projects, preferably in managed care. Health education experience and the ability to identify and manage external community resources.Preferred:Prior work experience managing nonprofit/social services, specifically in government-funded programs.Skills
Required:Knowledge of health care and managed care programs, health data analysis, initiative, strong communication skills, and interpersonal skills.Preferred:Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and bilingual in one of LA Care Health Plan’s threshold languages is highly desirable.Licenses/Certifications Required
