Job Summary:Our client, a leading contract manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Manager to bring onboard. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Great Benefits!!!Location: Milpitas, CaliforniaJob Type: PermanentSalary: $120,000 - $140,000 per yearWork Hours: 8am to 4pmEducation: Bachelor'sResponsibilities:Hire, mentor, and manage a team of Quality Engineers, Quality Supervisors, Quality Inspectors, and other staff to meet or exceed quality control requirements.Oversee creation and maintenance of a Quality Management System compliant with current and future ISO and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, FDA).Lead external audits (customer, notified body, FDA, fire department) and ensure successful resolution of all findings.Establish a strong quality control environment; serve as a key contact for quality-related topics/issues, manage Quality Control program with a zero-defect mindset, and apply quality management tools to identify, report, and resolve quality issues.Develop and analyze statistical data and process specifications to assess yields and establish quality standards for in-process and finished products; provide technical and statistical support as needed.Set and maintain quality control goals and objectives; collaborate with Operations and Manufacturing to enhance product quality and reduce costs.Coordinate with the Corporate Quality Group on escalations, procedures, reporting, and quality tools; drive periodic quality review meetings and own yield improvement efforts across quality control and assurance on the Production floor; prepare and present Management Reviews as per company QMS requirements.Lead the CAPA program, assisting internal and external teams in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.Manage MRB and RMA programs to maintain targets with a zero-waste approach; oversee Calibration Programs, ESD Control, NCMR Control, regular Internal Audits, and all other programs necessary for a robust quality control system.Represent the company in internal and external quality failure discussions with customers.Manage and maintain the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program, working closely with Corporate managers to meet environment, health, and safety standards.Drive sustainability initiatives in alignment with Corporate directives, ensuring plant compliance during corporate and customer audits.Promote continuous improvement through initiatives like Kaizen projects, Gemba walks, and adherence to 5S principles.Potentially manage Document Control, overseeing the handling and storage of customer, quality, and production documents.Qualifications:Experience Level: ManagerMinimum 5 years of experienceEducation: Bachelor's (required)Skills:QualityPCBAElectronicsISO 13485ISO 14001Medical DevicesEqual Opportunity Employer:
