Senior Database Administrator
opening for our client in Anchorage, Alaska.Location:

6 monthsKey Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and perform performance tuning of Microsoft SQL Server.Develop and deploy SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).Conduct daily and weekly maintenance checks, performance tuning, and security audits of production databases.Set up new servers, potentially including Microsoft Windows Server configuration.Perform database tuning, integrity checks, and review scheduled jobs.Work closely with the IT department and other database engineers.Ensure compliance to Security Policies, Procedures, and Control Sets.Develop and manage user and applications access rights relevant to database software.Evaluate and resolve database connectivity, performance, and security issues.Build database security roles and authorizations when requested by application owners.Process and resolve security defects/incidents that are reported via ITSM.Ensure database design is in line with industry benchmarks and best practices.Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.To Apply:To be considered, please apply directly to this requisition using the link provided.
