eero is looking for a highly proficient, hands-on WiFi System Development Engineer to further contribute and enhance the connectivity efficiency and experience of our devices and clients. You will help to improve our mesh and client connectivity, design new features, and ensure that the end users have a great connectivity experience. You'll work closely with testing teams to help discover and debug issues.As part of eero’s mission to reinvent WiFi, you’ll be making a difference in the fabric of the modern home.Key job responsibilities

Enhance the client connectivity and mesh experiences for eero's whole home connectivity productsTake various client connectivity performance to next levelsAnalyze connectivity problems and come out with complete solutionsDive deep into embedded system internalsImprove wireless drivers, firmware, hostap componentsDrive decisions about testing improvementsWork with core operating system, mobile and cloud teams to deliver featuresMaintenance work - regulatory settings, board settings, tools, scriptsA day in the life

The team members have the opportunity to learn about the WiFi stack and contribute to various components. Direct hands-on experience with the hardware as you are developing your software. We also work with many internal and external teams. Team members have a chance to work in the core technologies of eero such as roaming, routing, connectivity performance daily.About the team

The team members are working closely to provide the best customer experience. We own design to development to quality assurance with dedicated labs.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentPosted:
