Minimum: $80,000/yr Maximum: $90,000/yrDIRECTOR OF ADDMISSIONPOSITION SUMMARY :The Director of Admissions oversees both the clinical and administrative tasks related to the Admissions Department. This position provides clinical direction in psychiatric and chemical dependency assessment services including evaluation, crisis intervention, and referrals. The director interfaces closely with administration, medical staff, and other hospital departments. The Director of Assessment & Referral (DAR) is accountable for managing the Assessment and Referral department and operations. Must possess a working knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, addiction and recovery, treatment planning, and experience in patient assessment and clinical interview. Must be able to communicate effectively with external review organizations and insurance providers. Complete knowledge of crisis intervention techniques required. Workers may be exempt from the vaccination requirements by providing a signed exemption form indicating one of the following:Religious BeliefsQualifying Medical ReasonTo be eligible for an exemption based on Religious Beliefs, the worker must provide a written statement describing the worker's sincerely held religious beliefs and how those beliefs conflict with Colorado's August 21, 2021 Public Health Order requiring certain healthcare workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The company may request supporting documentation to further evaluate the request for religious accommodation.To be eligible for a Qualified Medical Reason exemption, the worker must provide a written statement signed by a physician, physician assistant, advanced practice nurse, or certified nurse midwife licensed in the State of Colorado stating that the COVID-19 vaccination for the employee, direct contractor, or support staff is medically contraindicated as described in the product labeling or authorized by the FDA. This statement should not describe the underlying medical condition or disability but should indicate the probable duration of the inability to receive the vaccine.A record of signed exemption forms and statements submitted in support of the exemption request must be maintained in a confidential HR Medical file, separate from the Personnel File
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, mental health or a related field.Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting; one (1) years leadership experience managing a related function, preferred.*Prior Intake
experience strongly preferred.Licensure:
