Admissions and Marketing Director
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team at Cherry Brook Health Care Center as the Admissions and Marketing Director. Cherry Brook is a 100 bed skilled nursing facility in Canton, CT and is a division of New Horizons, Inc. Experience in a nursing home managing SNF referrals is required. Knowledge of the full admission process is required, including but not limited to understanding of different diagnoses, medications, MDRO compatibility, insurance coverage, Auth/Denial processes and other essential functions regarding the admissions process in a skilled nursing facility. A creative and fresh perspective on marketing initiatives is what we need to tell the world about our special facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the face of Cherry Brook and guide potential residents and community members as they learn about our community. Provide information and tours as requested with a positive and welcoming attitude.
Develop and complete strategic marketing initiatives to drive admissions and community engagement.
Build and nurture relationships within the community to enhance outreach and referral sources.
Collaborate with skilled staff to ensure a smooth admissions process and exceptional resident experiences.
Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to sustain consistent admissions and achieve occupancy goals.
Take ownership of the admissions process to ensure timely and accurate responses to referral sources.
Attend community events and host opportunities at Cherry Brook for residents, staff and the community for engagement to showcase our services and culture.
Flexibility with some evening and weekend hours as needed for events and referral response.
Plan and participate in committees for employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and other related committees as requested.
Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in healthcare marketing, particularly in the skilled nursing industry.
Strong community connections and understanding of local healthcare networks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to adapt to change, navigate creative strategies for marketing.
Must be highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills.
