A distinguished law firm is seeking a Mid/Senior Associate for its Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for experienced legal professionals with a background in labor and employment law, specifically in defending wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, and single-plaintiff employment cases. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys to deliver high-value legal services to a diverse client base, including large corporations and small businesses.Location

Defend wage and hour class actions, PAGA actions, and FLSA collective actions.Handle discovery processes, conduct witness interviews, and address class certification issues.Represent clients in single-plaintiff employment cases, including taking and defending depositions, preparing and responding to discovery, and drafting dispositive motions.Participate in administrative hearings and proceedings, including EEOC/CRD charges and responses to demand letters.Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws.Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience in labor and employment law, particularly in wage and hour class actions and PAGA actions.Experience in defending single-plaintiff employment cases in California.Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, analysis, and writing.Knowledge of California and federal court procedural and evidence rules.Strong academic background and analytical skills.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills
