Support Operations with inbound and inprocess inspections and problem solving to prevent quality escapes working with internal engineering and other key stakeholdersEnsure tools are calibrated per IAPMO standardsCheck manufacturing work and record problems and resolution in the Quality Management SystemExecute inbound inspections from suppliers to ensure inbound product compliance; work with and collect process data as required; write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standardsPerform receiving, in process, and final inspection activitiesPerform internal manufacturing process and product audits as directedSupport quality management system auditsReport supplier nonconformances through the Global Supplier Quality reporting system and business unit systems and to cross functional stakeholders. Collaborate with Global Supplier Quality team to resolve supplier quality issues.Assist with nonconforming material containment process within the business unitCommunicate with quality department team and internal disciplines to communicate and resolve customer quality concernsMay be assigned to participate in projects as a part of development as assigned by Quality System or Engineering supervision / support teamSupport quality department with Corrective and Preventive Action ProcessPerform nonconforming material analysis as directedCollect process data as required and maintain quality recordsSupport continual improvement (#CI) objectives as assignedContinually learn and successfully execute processes to meet organizational objectivesUp to 25% travel to suppliers and other sites to support operations as needed including travel between Grand Prairie and Caddo Mills, TX.Other projects as assignedQualifications/Requirements

High School/GED required5 years experience as a Quality Technician preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environmentDemonstrated communication and problem solving capabilitiesKnowledge of blueprint readingMS Office (Word / Excel / Power Point /Outlook) knowledge requiredCan work with Hand Gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Proficient computer skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilityTotal Rewards and Benefits
