Job Description
Under immediate direction, provides timely response of customer inquiries up to and including pick-ups, schedules, product orders, etc., and all other aspects of a customer's needs. Dispatches vehicles on a pre-set route for each CSR daily in the interest of efficient customer service.Assist Customer Service with customer requests, route changes, rescheduling for pickups/missed stops.Provides highest level of customer service to all customers in line with Customer objectives.Monitor and escalate CIC's to supervisor & Assist walk-in customersResponsible for All Logistics/TransportationUnderstand and review daily the Atlas routing systemConduct daily debriefs for all driversAssist with Team Member electronic issues or concernsBuild and print routes for drivers daily, including but not limited to shipping documents, route sheets, shipping labelsDispatch drivers for extra, early service or missed pick-upsCreate load sheetsReviews driver's paperwork (DVIR's, ELD Logs) and DQF filesReview and updates routes, new customers based on daily communication, reroutes existing customers as requiredDebrief drivers in accordance with written SOP'sComplete consolidated manifests for trailer shipmentsEnsures that routes are balanced dailyForwards DVIR (Vehicle Condition Report) reports to Transportation Supervisor/Manager for maintenance requestAssists drivers with problems/issues as issues arise (during the day or at the end of the route)Prepares reviews and stamps all manifestsAssists Trans Supervisor/Manager as needed/directedHandle 3rd Party Hauler paperworkTrack and input DOT hours/ JJ Keller.Monitors Company policies and procedures, communicating to staff, as necessaryCommunicate performance standards and objectivesMonitors operations and work of all CSRsKeeps staff informed of current problems, changes, and new developments in the department and company by conducting professional, organized, and participative meetingsPerform any other administrative duties assigned by managementHourly Rate: $22/hour
Qualifications
Our qualified candidate will have:
A high school diploma or GEDOne or more years of experience as an Administrative AssistantPreferred qualifications include:
Two or more years of transportation/logistics experienceDemonstrates the ability to work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self or others.Demonstrates knowledge of computer software applications to include spreadsheets and word processing.Ability to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
