this kingdom work.
Position Purpose
The Donor Fund Senior Accountant will be responsible for the Intacct accounting for the advised funds in our Give Interactive software platform. This position will complete bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries for upload to our accounting software, and maintain the audit trail for the shared accounts and advisor-managed accounts. This position will work with the Finance DAF Operations team to ensure sound financial accounting is maintained in Intacct, as well as with the Controller's team for the annual audit and Intacct closing processes.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Complete month end closing for all shared accounts activity in Give Interactive, including preparing and recording journal entries, completing financial data uploads, and completing account reconciliations.
2. Complete quarter end closing for the advisor-managed accounts activity in Give Interactive, including preparing and recording journal entries, completing financial data uploads, and completing account reconciliations.
3. Completing monthly and quarterly reclass and elimination entries to support the Give Interactive accounts.
4. Manage the calculation of AMA and Alternative Investment fees per DAF and work with Finance DAF Operations team to charge in Give Interactive.
5. Assist with the annual audit as directed by the Controller.
6. Partner with Finance DAF Operations team to lead and assist with projects such as Clearwater transition and relationship, quarterly advisor-managed accounts and alternative investments reconciliations, and other projects as assigned by the Director of DAF Accounting.
7. Develop and maintain documentation for accruals, cash reconciliations, and other journals to comply with Signatry accounting policies, internal controls, and to support the annual external audit and the 990-tax return.
8. Complete other assignments and projects as assigned by the Controller including the annual audit and Intacct closing processes.
