SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
The Senior Scheduler will be a centralized resource with experience and capability to support planning and scheduling needs across multiple project types and operating groups.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of basic scheduling principles and techniques.Work with site teams and trade partners in the development of project schedules using common CPM scheduling programsSupport supervision through the monitoring and updating of project schedulesAssist site management to formulate mitigation plans to correct scheduling problemsAssist with proposals and pursuit schedules as neededEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsAll other duties as assignedREQUIREMENT AND EDUCATION
Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices and company softwareBasic knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencingAbility to exercise creativity and mature judgement in anticipating and solving problemsBasic plan and specification reading, review and interpretation skillsBasic knowledge of project management, contracts and buyoutAbility to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutionsResults-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashionActive listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackAbility to travel may be required based on operating groupBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent fieldMinimum of two (2) years construction experience; or equivalent combination of training and experienceExperience as a project engineer is desirableBENEFITS
