Position Overview:
As the Controller Senior Director, you will be a key leader on our growing Finance team. You will lead all aspects of Accounting including ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, overseeing treasury operations, establishing and enforcing effective controls, managing risk, and leading tax compliance. This role requires a hands-on, ambitious leader to scale the capabilities of our accounting team to support the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all accounting operations including conducting timely and accurate closings, overseeing efficient and controlled AP, ensuring compliance with GAAP standardsCoordinate all audit activityEstablish and enforce effective controls to protect company assets and the integrity of our financial dataOversee treasury operations and cash planningPrepare and distribute investor reporting and maintain the cap tableMaintain compliance with tax and other reporting requirementsBe a thought leader in the design, implementation, and continual improvement of our financial systemsElevate accounting processes to ensure efficiency, controls, and complianceBuild the accounting team including designing the optimal team, recruiting top talent, and developing the teamQualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, Licensed CPA, public accounting experience preferred.10+ years experience in roles of increasing responsibility. Ideally a combination of both large company experience and startup experience.Big 4 public auditing experience required.Strong leadership skills and track record of building and leading teams in a high-growth environmentSuccessfully designed, implemented, and optimized financial systems, including an ERPStrong analytical skills and experience analyzing financial data
Please note that the pay range provided refers to the base salary only and does not include potential bonuses or equity.
CompensationAll final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Pay Range for this position
$275,000-$300,000 USD
