Job SummaryIn accordance with written and oral instructions, the Warehouse Operator assures that warehouse and the associated equipment operates safely, properly and efficiently to meet pre-set key performance indicators.
-Will be responsible for all keying efficiencies, inventory accuracy, outbound product quality, housekeeping, and personnel management tasks.
-Must demonstrate a strong ability to manage key performance indicators, such as shipping and receiving processing, keying entries, warehouse transactions, inventory accuracy and cycle count procedures.
-Will be able to identify operating inefficiencies, diagnose operational problems, and will possess the ability to make adjustments to correct operation and quality challenges.
-Responsible for maintaining material flow within the ReadyCare facility.
Job DescriptionAll keying entries, such as receiving reports, stock to stock moves, finished goods to stock, returns, pick tickets, etc. The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for all their inventory transaction entries and accuracy relating to the material movements as they pertain to the ReadyCare facility.Maintain consistent material flow by proper time management. Receives raw material and supplies. Slot these items in a storage location and ensure the information is accurately entered into the ERP systems.Process LSR's: Move finished goods from the slot locations to the shipping lanes after QA removes the QA HOLD. Ensures transactions are accurately entered in the ERP systems.Stage raw materials in the production locations.Process material requisitions from production. Ensures the transactions are accurately entered in the ERP systems.Moves finished goods from production floor to slot locations until QA completes quality tests and releases the products for shipping. Ensures the transactions are accurately entered in the ERP systems.Housekeeping: Maintain housekeeping of assigned areas and aisles, which includes debris removal, floor sweeping, rack cleaning, and skid maintenance (fix distraught skids, remove hanging debris, etc.).Perform cycle count to confirm accuracy of the raw materials and finished goods at all time. Ensures the transactions and adjustments are accurately entered in the ERP systems.Ability to operate Reach Truck, Walkie, Cherry Picker, and Fork Lifts efficiently and safely.Ability to perform general maintenance tasks to material handling equipment, including battery charging, battery exchange, battery maintenance (water, checklists, etc.), and general cleaning.Other task as assigned by warehouse lead or facility managers.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma / GED or minimum 4 years work experience with mechanical aptitude or combination education/work experience equivalent.Minimum score of 80% on basic entry level skills assessment / evaluation required.Possess five years of operator experience.Must be able to read and understand charts, indicators, instructions on controls, and operator checklists; must be able to read and understand fractions and decimals and their use.English Comprehension: ability to read and write English language.Working knowledge of SAP and AS400 ERP systems.Working knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) handheld devices.Basic computer skills (Windows applications, MS Office applications including Outlook).Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.Ability to exercise effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with co-workers and management.Ability to prioritize and recognize workplace priorities and follow management direction.Ability to operate Reach Truck, Walkie, Cherry Picker, and Forklift.Ability to perform task with minimal supervision.
