Summary:
Client Agency is Department of Homeland Security.Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).Will develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts, plans, and procedures. Will collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and design appropriate test strategies. Will perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability. Will identify, document, and track defects using issue/defect tracking tools. Will enhance and improve automated testing frameworks and methodologies for maximum efficiency and reliability. Will provide detailed quality metrics and insights on software performance and stability. Will participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and other agile ceremonies, offering insights into testing requirements and timelines. Will review and refine existing QA processes and controls to ensure the highest quality standards. Will communicate test progress, results, and issues to project teams and stakeholders.Requirements:
Must be able to pass DHS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).3+ years of experience in a lead or senior role.5+ years of experience in the Testing/QA field.Must be Proficient in automated testing tools (Selenium, JUnit).Hands-on experience with issue/defect tracking systems (Jira, Confluence).Ability to create and execute test cases for various forms of software testing (integration, system, regression, end-to-end).Ability to effectively utilize issue/defect tracking tools.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) and frequent release cycles.Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.Must be willing and able to attend on-site meetings in Camp Springs, MD.Preferred:
An Active PMP-ACP or PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.An Active Scrum Master or Agile certification.Work With Us
