Business Analyst Consultant Data Warehouse Project

Key Responsibilities:Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Collect user requirements for data warehouse features, reporting needs, and enhancements. Organize and communicate requirements to development teams.Data Modeling & Visualization: Develop flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate data flow, ETL processes, and operational steps. Create detailed system documentation.Project Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive digital binder documenting project progress, including requirements, feasibility studies, meeting notes, data lineage, and other materials.Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test cases for user acceptance testing, and review components like ETL processes and data integrity to ensure alignment with requirements.Change Management & Training: Document change requests and application issues, and develop job aids to facilitate the use of new technology solutions. Coordinate with team members to update process guidelines.Optimization Analysis: Identify areas for improvement in data storage, retrieval processes, and performance metrics.Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience:At least four years as a Business Analyst.Strong background in software documentation, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Visio or similar flowcharting tools.Proven skills in requirements gathering, technical documentation, and data analysis using tools like PL/SQL, SPSS, PowerBI, and Excel.Experience in developing ETL pipelines and conducting user acceptance testing.Technical Skills: Proficiency in creating documentation for technical and data modeling, and conducting data analysis and testing.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban project environments.Familiarity with cloud computing solutions.Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI-PBA, CBAP, or CCBA.Communication Proficiency:Strong oral and written communication skills.recblid 7cx0z7bxnt3ntq4t9ysv275fpt3rz0
