to join their team.

Position Overview
The Controller will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, and reporting activities and will lead all day-to-day finance operations for the budget and supervise the accounting team. The Controller will ensure that accounting systems, policies, and procedures are in place to support effective administrative and program operations and to conduct flawless audits.
Responsibilities Of The Controller
Oversee maintenance and reconciliation of all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems.Maintain internal controls and safeguards.Prepare yearly financial statements and coordinate all related audits.Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports.Annual budgeting and planning process.Administer and review all financial plans.Oversee all financial, project/program, and grants accounting.Ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets.Collate financial reporting materials for government, corporate, and foundation grants.
Qualifications For The Controller
Non-profit accounting experience is needed.Microsoft Office products and Accounting systems are required.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines.Ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting is required.CPA certification and/or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Public Administration is preferred.
