Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases and multiple sclerosis.Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs and lumbar punctures.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Provide emergency care and manage critical situations effectively.Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of neurological diseases and disorders, and their diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.Ability to interpret complex neurological data.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in performing and interpreting neurological assessments and procedures.Collaborative skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams.Minimum Education Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.Residency training program in neurology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).Fellowship in a subspecialty of neurology may be required.License & Certifications

Board certification in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP).Active and unrestricted medical license in Montana .Experience
