Description
The shipping department Team Lead will provide direct interaction with all team members involved in shipping orders, provide assistance and guidance to employees on issues related to the shipping department. Monitoring employees of specific areas. Give feed back to the people. Team Lead and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.
Schedule & Compensation
Monday - Friday, 2:30PM - 11PM, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
$22.75 hourly
Major ResponsibilitiesMust have a positive "can-do" attitudeResponsible for aisle patrolVerify and enforce safety complianceVerify and enforce compliance of the SOPsMonitoring time per task reportsMonitoring location issues reportsTrouble Shoot and resolve issues related to the shipping process.E.O.D. stock chaser audits (cars clean, trash thrown, tablets/scanners plugged and charged in correct spot)Provide involvement in the planning and execution of Special Projects related to shipping processProvide leadership to the shipping teamAll other duties as assignedRequirements

Physical Demands
The job will be performed in the warehouse and floor presence is required. Additionally, the position will require the operations of a stock chaser to move thru the warehouse. Moderate Hand-Eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing is required.
Working Environment
The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
