Range Support Technician
Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland
Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S. citizenship required
Salary: $20/HR - $30/HR Depending on Experience and Education
Travel: 5%

Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Range Support Technician to support our Aberdeen Research Operation Working onsite at the DEVCOM Analysis Center's (DAC) Experimental Facility (EF) 6. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for facility maintenance/upkeep (sweeping, grass cutting, general organization and housekeeping)
Assisting with test set-up, execution, and clean-up
Operates specific equipment to include, but not limited to the following: forklifts, tractors, and utility/transport vehicles; a wide variety of power and hand tools needed for fabrication, repair, and maintenance of components, test equipment, and safety devices.
Reduces arena fragment data (picking from celotex, weighing, measuring, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications of Range Support Technician
High School Diploma. Transitioning military with prior experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates are not required or expected to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, you are encouraged to apply.
Possesses the ability to use and understand basic measuring devices (tape measures, scales, micrometers)
Willing to work around energetic materials (propellants & high explosives)
Possesses the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Possesses basic computer skills (e-mail, Micrsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
