Join our dynamic team as a Lead Data Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, supporting business intelligence applications, and driving data integrity across the organization.
As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data in response to new business requests, performing maintenance and changes on interfaces, and identifying and resolving data discrepancies across multiple business applications.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Work directly with the client user community and business analysts to define and document data requirements for data integration and business intelligence applications.
Determine and document data mapping rules for the movement of medium to high complexity data between applications.
Adhere to and promote the use of data administration standards.
Support data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouses and data marts.
Create and sustain processes, tools, and ongoing support structures and processes.
Extract and analyze data from specific applications, systems, and/or databases to create reports and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
Investigate and resolve data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies in definition, format, and function.
Create and populate metadata into repositories.
May create data models, including robust data definitions, entity-relationship-attribute models, star, or dimensional models.
May create data flow diagrams and process models and integrate models across functional areas and platforms.
Work closely with DBAs to transition logical models to physical implementation.
May employ data mining techniques to achieve data synchronization, redundancy elimination, source identification, data reconciliation, and problem root cause analysis.
May be responsible for quality control and auditing of databases, resolving data problems, and analyzing system changes for quality assurance.
Job Contribution:
Senior level technical expertise.
Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on AT&T technologies.
Education:
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Typically requires 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Supervisory:
No supervisory responsibilities.
