GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Operations team of the Office of Technology (OTS). The Business Analyst (BA) will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and IT departments to analyze, design, and implement solutions that support the institution's goals and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on data-driven decision-making to enhance student and faculty experiences. The BA will drive strategic projects, ensure process alignment with institutional objectives, and serve as a bridge between stakeholders to support campus-wide digital transformation initiatives.
COMMUNICATIONS
This position requires exceptional communication and analytical skills. The Business Analyst will engage in written, verbal, and in-person communication with both internal and external stakeholders. They must effectively interpret business and technical requirements, translating them into clear, actionable insights for project teams and producing accurate, user-friendly documentation and reports. Attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible format are essential for fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
This role requires extensive collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Internally, the Business Analyst will work closely with departments such as IT, Academic Affairs, and Enrollment, as well as with senior leadership and faculty, to align projects with institutional objectives. Externally, the role may involve engaging with technology vendors, regulatory agencies, and accrediting organizations. The Business Analyst is expected to provide responsive and solutions-focused support through multiple communication channels, including email, phone/video conferencing, and project management systems, ensuring that stakeholder needs are met efficiently and effectively.
