Insurance Defense Attorney

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defending insurance companies and policyholders in a variety of matters, including personal injury, commercial liability, and other complex insurance defense cases. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with significant litigation experience looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities :Represent insurance companies and policyholders in defense of claims involving personal injury, property damage, and general liability.Handle a caseload of moderate to complex cases from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.Provide legal analysis, advice, and strategy on insurance coverage issues and defense tactics.Prepare and argue motions, attend hearings, and handle settlement negotiations.Draft legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests.Manage relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.Keep clients informed about case progress, developments, and potential outcomes.Collaborate with team members and partners on case strategy and best practices.Qualifications :

J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in insurance defense or a related field.Strong litigation experience, including trial preparation and courtroom experience.Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and effectively manage time and priorities.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and craft practical solutions.Strong negotiating skills and ability to resolve cases efficiently through settlement or alternative dispute resolution when possible.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.Experience with legal research and drafting detailed legal memoranda and motions.Compensation & Benefits :
