Requirements:
Must be in the 2nd semester of a Respiratory Care Program to apply.Job related course work beyond high school and enrolled in Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) approved RCS program.Clinical check offs from school affiliation required.CPR/BLS certification required.Basic computer skills, and knowledge of office equipment.Proficient computer skills (Word processing), and mathematical skills.About the Job:
Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to a manager.
