Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: All vascular procedures
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Minimum 2 years experience
Average # of scans/studies per day
EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Meditech/agfa PACS currently. EPIC – may 1 2024
Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Currently Philips. GE within 6 weeks
Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Yes
Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
Radiologist in-house? Yes however Vasc Surgeon reads
Do they have to start IV's?
(if applicable to the department) No
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 3-1130 shift; no self scheduling
Weekend Requirements: Yes; rotate
Holiday Requirements: no
Call or Standby requirement? Currently weekend; rotate w staff will eliminate
