Edenbrook Green Bay , a skilled nursing facility, located in Green Bay, WI, is seeking an experienced and dedicated
PM Charge Nurse . The Charge Nurse is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.
Responsibilities:
Hourly position, occasional weekends, On-call rotation duty.
This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies, and procedures by Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
Designs, implements and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintain and promote resident rights.
Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.
Education and/or Experience
Preferably with at least 1 year of experience as Unit Manager/ Nurse Manager/ Charge Nurse
Licensed with current Wisconsin nursing licensure required.
Degree from an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
3 years experience in a long-term care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
Experience with applicable state Survey Rules Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
Required ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment.
Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
